Lou Vanorski coaches wide receivers, corners and serves as the special teams coordinator for the Morristown High School football team.  Lou was also my football coach when I played for the Long Valley Raiders.  Lou frequently experienced fainting spells growing up, but it wasn't until after he fainted in a high school football practice that he was told he needed a pacemaker and would never be able to play football again.

Lou brings an interesting perspective to the podcast because he was an athlete who overcame serious injuries, he is currently a football coach and has recently become a father.  In this episode we talk about coping with the emotions that come with being told you'll never be play the sport you love again.  In addition we talk about sports specialization and its influence on injuries and athleticism.
